Cost of oil goes down: Brent – $97.06 a barrel

June 4, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades declined in Thursday’s trading after growth the day before.

As of 09:14, at the ICE Futures exchange, the price of August’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.75 (0.77%) to $97.06 per barrel. Following the trading on June 3, this contract rose in price by $1.81 (1.89%) up to $97.81 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), July’s futures for WTI crude oil declined by $0.68 (0.71%) to $95.34 per barrel by 09:14. Following the trading on June 3, the contract grew in price by $2.26 (2.41%), up to $96.02 per barrel.
