June 2, Fineko/abc.az. Within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), met with Derek Magness, the Managing Director of Chevron's Eurasia Business Unit.

According to the information provided by SOCAR to ABC.AZ, Chevron’s successful operations in Azerbaijan were noted with satisfaction during the meeting. The sides emphasized that the document signed between SOCAR and Chevron during the opening ceremony of the Baku Energy Week is of paramount importance for expanding mutual cooperation, and reviewed the future tasks to be implemented in this direction.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on potential opportunities for executing joint projects between the two companies both in Azerbaijan and other countries, alongside other matters of mutual interest.
