June 1, Fineko/abc.az. Russia and China will enjoy special conditions when ships pass through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to foreign media, that the statement was made by the head of Iran’s parliament's National Security & Foreign Policy Commission, Ebrahim Azizi.

He stressed that Moscow and Beijing have always supported Tehran and remained close during the most difficult periods.

"The strategic states for us will continue to enjoy a special approach and favorable conditions in matters related to the Strait of Hormuz," Azizi said.

He added that Iran has every right to make any decisions on the strait, and no one can question the country's sovereignty.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump strongly criticized Iran's proposal to Oman to jointly collect fees from ships passing through Hormuz. Trump promised to "rip apart" Oman economically if it agrees to the deal, saying that the strait should remain open to all states.
