25 May, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan will establish a unified agricultural information and advisory system to guide regional specialization based on agro-ecological data and to enhance farmer education.
ABC.AZ reports that this initiative is outlined in the "State Program for the Development of Production and Processing of Agricultural, Fishery, and Aquaculture Products in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2030," approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the program, the new system aims to implement regional specialization for various agricultural products according to local soil and climate profiles, while keeping farmers fully informed. Furthermore, the advisory platform will focus on raising awareness among local producers regarding the principles and methods of organic agricultural production.
