May 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Serbia on the development, design, construction and management of a gas turbine power plant in Serbia has been approved.
ABC.AZ informs that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a relevant decree. This agreement was signed in Belgrade on February 15, 2025.
Under the decree, after the agreement enters into force, SOCAR will have to ensure implementation of its provisions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan will send a notification to the Government of Serbia on the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the document.
