Russia increased electricity supplies to Kazakhstan by a third in the first quarter

May 25, Fineko/abc.az. In the first quarter of 2026, Russia increased electricity supplies to Kazakhstan by 33% against Q1 of 2025.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to Inter RAO that for Jan-Mar 2026, the Russian Federation supplied 930 million kWh of electricity to Kazakhstan.

44% of overall volume of Russian electricity exports accounted for Kazakhstan. Mongolia's share in the export structure was 12% and other countries - 44%.
