May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijan transported 8.389 million tons of oil via oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (31.4% less versus Jan-Apr 2025), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

For the past 4 months, 77% of deliveries were carried out via the BTC pipeline.

82.4%, or 6.914 million tons of oil transported through the BTC pipeline during the period, was oil produced in Azerbaijan, and 17.6%, or 1.475 million tons, was oil coming from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

During this period, the volume of Azerbaijani oil transported through the BTC pipeline decreased by 10.6% and the volume of oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan by 6.8%.
