May 18, Fineko/abc.az. Inter Ikea Group plans to lay off another 850 employees - this is the third stage of cuts in the last two months. In total, nearly 2,000 people will lose their jobs, more than half in Sweden.

ABC.AZ reports that the cuts will take place in stages: nearly 600 employees - by the summer, another 250 ones in early autumn. The main offices of the company are located in Sweden and the Netherlands.

The reason is deterioration of financial indicators: company's profit fell from 25 billion to almost 19 billion crowns, as well as impact of global uncertainty on consumer demand.
