November 26, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev has received Ambassador Sherzod Feyziyev of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting the minister stated that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan tripled for the first 9 months of 2018 and there is a possibility of expanding cooperation in the field of industry, agriculture, tourism, trade, as well as export of Azerbaijan’s non-oil products.
"Underlining favorable geographical location of Azerbaijan at the intersection of East-West and North-South transport corridors, the minister stated about the wide opportunities of cooperation in the transport and transit area," the Ministry said.
In turn, the Uzbek ambassador focused on the potential in the development of cooperation in the transport and transit sector and stressed the importance of business meetings, business forums in the development of economic relations.
