May 18, Fineko/abc.az. The import of premium gasoline in Azerbaijan in the 1st quarter of 2026 increased against Q1 of 2025.

ABC.AZ reports that our country imported 44,500 tons of 95 octane gasoline (44% more than 30,900 tons in 2025).

The cost of imports reached $38.389 million (a rise of 47% versus $26.98 million a year earlier).

The price of 1 ton of premium gasoline was $861.97 ($845.7 in 2025).

Azerbaijan imported 530 tons of super premium gasoline (98 octane) (18.6% less than 651 tons in 2025). Its cost was $650,170, and the price per ton was $1,226.

11,822 tons were imported from Belarus, 11,396 tons from Russia, and 2,717 tons of gasoline from Romania.

No imports of AI-92 gasoline were carried out this year. In the 1st quarter of 2025, the country imported 53,270 tons of gasoline for $42.214 million.
