April 29, Fineko/abc.az. The private sector plays an important role in the process of economic diversification, foreign economic policy and attracting international partners.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov made the above-said statement at event on the theme "Entrepreneurship Development - Strong Economy".

The minister thanked the entrepreneurs who faithfully contribute to development of Azerbaijan. He noted that the government continues to support development of entrepreneurship, especially small and medium-sized businesses, as well as competitive and export-oriented industries, and these mechanisms will expand in the face of global challenges.

Jabbarov stressed that one of the main expectations from the business is to increase productivity, the key condition of which is qualified personnel. It is also important to increase the technological level of enterprises and invest in long-term projects.
