April 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's non-bank credit organizations brought their net profit to 81.7 million manats in the first quarter of 2026. For comparison, loss of 31.6 million manats was recorded in the same period of 2025. The data does not take into account state-owned NBCO AqrarKredit.
ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that the key factors influencing the result were an increase in non-financial income from 65.8 million up to 103.9 million manats (by 57.9%), as well as growth of net interest income from 39.8 million up to 56.9 million manats (by 43.2%). In addition, decline in reserves for assets from 93.4 million up to 25.3 million manats had positive impact.
NBCOs’ overall eranings, including interest and non-interest income, increased from 121.5 million manats up to 175.8 million manats, showing a rise of 44.7%. Interests and similar income grew from 55.7 million manats up to 71.9 million manats (by 29.1%). Non-interest expenses increased from 42.2 million up to 48.2 million manats (by 14.2%), while interest expenses decreased from 15.9 million to 15 million manats (by 5.7%). Total expenses observed growth from 58.1 million manats up to 63.2 million manats (a rise of 8.8%).
