Aprel 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, Georgia's revenue from Azerbaijani tourists amounted to $48.1 million (1% less year-on-year), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the National Bank of Georgia.
Georgia's overall international tourism revenues in the 1st quarter of 2026 reached $829.8 million, reflecting a 0.5% increase yoy.
Among the main source countries, revenues were distributed as: the European Union contributed $140.7 million (up 36% yoy); Türkiye - $120.1 million (up 12% yoy); Azerbaijan – $48.1 million, (down 1% yoy); Ukraine – $45.3 million (up 34% yoy); Armenia – $28.8 million, (up 2% yoy); Belarus – $16 million, (up 1% yoy); and Saudi Arabia – $12.9 million, (up 48% yoy).
Meanwhile, in 2025, Georgia's tourism revenues reached a record $4.69 billion, representing a 6% increase compared to 2024. During the same year, revenues from Azerbaijani tourists rose by 33%, reaching $223 million.
