April 21, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of this year, 484,400 foreign citizens and stateless persons from 172 countries arrived in Azerbaijan (4.7% less against Q1 of 2025).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the largest proportion of arrivals accounted for citizens of Russia (25.9%), Turkey (21.7%), Iran (8.9%), Georgia (5.3%) and Kazakhstan (4.1%).

Also among the arrivals are citizens of India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Israel, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, the UK, Kuwait and the UAE, as well as reps of other countries.

71.8% of the arrivals accounted for men and 28.2% for women.

The tourist flow from the EU countries grew by 27.4% up to 21,800 people and from the CIS countries by 3.8% up to 177,100 people). At the same time, the number of tourists from the Persian Gulf countries decreased by 16.7% to 69,100 and from other countries by 8.9% to 216,400.
