April 20, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 270,500 tons of oil and petroleum products from bituminous rocks for $127.5 million to Germany for Jan-Mar 2026.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Customs Committee, this figure is $149.1 million, or 53.9% less versus Jan-Mar 2025. And in terms of volume, a drop of 223,400 tons or 80.8% was recorded.

Thus, for Jan-Mar 2025, our country exported 500,000 tons of oil and petroleum products from bituminous rocks for $276.6 million to Germany.

Germany ranked 4th among the countries, which imported oil and petroleum products from Azerbaijan.

Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan exported 5.077 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks for $2.501 billion to other countries of the world.

This figure is $836 million or 25.1% less in terms of value and 934,000 tons or 15.5% less in terms of physical volume compared with Jan-Mar 2025.
