April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Nuclear energy will become one of the components of Azerbaijan's energy balance.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov made the relevant statement at a panel session on energy within the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

"We are moving to a new model and will ensure energy security not only through hydrocarbons, but also through electricity, including renewable sources. In addition, we have decided to include nuclear energy in our energy mix, as we consider it as a clean energy source and an important component of the future energy mix, taking into account the growing demand for electricity," Shahbazov said.
