April 13, Fineko/abc.az. South Korea is switching to Kazakh oil due to risks in the Middle East.

ABC.AZ informs that the South Korean authorities intend to buy Kazakhstani oil amid the military conflict in the Middle East,

A South Korean delegation visited Kazakhstan earlier this April to discuss the supply of crude oil and naphtha. Seoul is heavily dependent on hydrocarbon imports, with up to 70% of supplies coming from the Middle East.

S Korean Industry Minister Kim Jong-kwan says that Seoul is ready to announce specific figures for oil supplies from Kazakhstan next week.
