April 2, Fineko/abc.az. The quantity of employees in the banking sector at the end of February was 27,277.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank, that the number of employees of the bank in January 2026 totaled 27,235 people, which means an increase of 42 people compared with February 2025.

As of February 28, 2026, 22 banks numbered 505 branches, 85 sub-branches and 3,507 ATMs.
