March 31, Fineko/abc.az. American drivers are paying more than $4 per gallon for gasoline again, which has not happened since mid-2022.
ABC.AZ informs that according to service GasBuddy, which monitors gas station prices daily, the average cost of motor fuel Regular on Tuesday evening along the east coast of the U.S. was exactly $4,001 per standard gallon (3.79 liters).
Prices bite the hardest in California: Refueling costs $5.86/gallon there. Since the outbreak of the military conflict in the Middle East, gasoline has gone up by an average of $1 per gallon. Diesel fuel added $1.5: its price soared from $3.75 to $5.4 per gallon.
The record average gasoline price in the history of the U.S. was recorded in June 2022, when a gallon cost more than $5.
