March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 4.381 bcm (in gaseous state) of natural gas for $1.285 billion for Jan-Feb 2026.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee, that compared with Jan-Feb 2025, this figure declined in value by $265 million or 17.1%, and in volume terms grew by 194 million cu m, or 4.6%.

Over Jan-Feb 2026, Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with foreign countries for $6.264 billion ($2.64 billion, or 29.6% less versus Jan-Feb 2025), including exports for $3.665 billion and imports for $2.599 billion.

For the past 2 months, decline of $1.102 billion, or 23% was reported on exports and by $1.539 billion, or 37.2% on imports.

As a result, foreign trade ended with positive balance of $933.6 million ($52.4 million, or 5.3% less than last year).
