IEA countries may release record volume of oil to market

March 11, Fineko/abc.az. The International Energy Agency has proposed the largest release of oil reserves in history to lower oil prices, which rose sharply during the war between the U.S. and Israel with Iran.

ABC.AZ informs, refering to The Wall Street Journal, that the decision should be made on March 11. Approval will require the consent of all 32 member countries.

According to officials, this time the volume will exceed 182 million barrels of oil that the IEA member countries released to the market in 2022.
