March 2, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and bp considered the possibility of joint participation in various projects in third countries, ABC.AZ informs, referring to SOCAR.

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Gordon Birrell, Executive Vice President for Production & Operations at bp.

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the long-standing and successful cooperation between SOCAR and bp, and the importance of jointly implemented projects was emphasized. In this context, discussions covered upstream projects, including Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) and NAG (Non-Associated Gas), Shah Deniz Compression, Karabakh, Ashrafi-Dan Ulduzu-Aypara (ADUA), and Shafag-Asiman. The parties also reviewed opportunities for joint participation in various projects in third countries.

During discussions the sides further addressed midstream and renewable energy projects, along with other issues of mutual interest.
