February 26, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, Azerbaijan imported 6,598 tons of kerosene fuel (except kerosene fuel for jet engines) for $10.51 million (45% less in value terms and 70% less in quantity against 2024), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan bought 6,241 tons of products from Belgium (+41%) for $9.52 million (37% more than a year earlier), 166 tons (+28-fold) from China for $384,000 (+18-fold), 76.23 tons (+7 600-fold) from Switzerland for $199,000 (+6 633-fold), 71 tons (+8%) from South Korea for $140,000 (-24%), 7.2 tons (+8-fold) from the USA for $61,000 (+3-fold).

Last year, deliveries from Austria (0.01 tons for $500) were carried out for the first time in the last 14 years (official statistics on foreign trade are publicly available for the period up to 2011).

In 2024, Turkmenistan made up 69.4% of 21,871 tons of kerosene imported in Azerbaijan.
