February 26, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, Italian oil & gas company Eni reduced total gas sales by 14% to 43.7 bcm, ABC.AZ informs, referring to company's report.

This occurred mainly due to a 20% drop in gas sales in Italy and the European market, especially in Turkey, after the termination of gas supplies within the contract with Botas via gas pipeline Blue Stream, the company explained.

Of the indicated volume, 12.1 bcm accounted for sales of liquefied natural gas (LNG, +23%).

Eni sold 3.2 bcm of LNG in the 4th quarter of 2025 against 3.3 bcm for Q3 and 2.7 bcm for Q4 of 2024. Eni's overall gas sales reached 13.4 bcm (-12%).
