Honeywell International to provide technologies for an oil refinery in Georgia

February 24, Fineko/abc.az. Georgian company Black Sea Petroleum (BSP) has signed an engineering and licensing agreement with American technology conglomerate Honeywell International, BSP informs.

Black Sea Petroleum is building an oil refinery in Kulevi with nominal capacity of up to 4.5 million tons a year. At the moment, the first stage of the project with capacity of 1.2 million tons a year has been completed. Construction of the second stage with capacity of 3.3 million tons a year is currently underway.

In accordance with the signed agreement, Honeywell International will provide BSP with licenses for technological processes, basic design, specialized equipment and catalysts.
