Saudi Aramco starts exporting condensate from Jafurah field

February 23, Fineko/abc.az. Saudi Arabia's state oil company Saudi Aramco has concluded deals on the sale of ultralight condensate from Jafurah field.

ABC.AZ informs that the buyers were Chevron, ExxonMobil and Indian Oil Corp.

Deliveries are scheduled for the end of February and March at a premium of $2-3 per barrel to the Dubai benchmark. According to Reuters, Saudi Aramco can export up to six shipments of 500,000 barrels per month.

Jafurah field, with reserves of 229 trillion cubic feet of gas and 75 billion barrels of condensate, is a key project of the company worth $100 billion and part of a strategy to strengthen its position in the global gas market.
