February 20, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades keep on rising on Friday and ended the week in positive territory.

As of 09:14, at the ICE Futures exchange, the price of April’s Brent crude futures grew by $0.35 (0.49%) up to $72.01 per barrel. Following the trading on February 19, April’s Brent futures rose by $1.31 (1.86%) up to $71.66 per barrel.

AT the NYMEX stock exchange, March’s futures for WTI crude oil increased in price by $0.35 (0.53%) up to $66.78 per barrel by 09:14. Following the trading on February 19, March’s WTI futures added $1.24 (1.90%), reaching $66.43 per barrel. The March WTI contracts expire at the close of the market on Friday. The more actively traded WTI futures for April by this time rose by $0.36 (0.54%) to $66.76 per barrel.

Since the beginning of the week, crude oil Brent has grown in price by 6.29% and WTI by 6.39%.
