In 2025, bp’s direct (subcontracting) costs on local labor (services) and materials under contracts signed with local companies in the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey region and with foreign contractors operating in the region amounted to $1.705 billion (12.5% more than a year ago).

ABC.AZ informs, referring to bp’s report on the results of 2025, that bp spent $689 million in joint ventures (15 enterprises each) with local partners.

According to the report, the company spent $384.5 million on expenses of foreign contractors across the country (for 74 companies).

In addition, bp’s expenditures on 231 small- and medium-sized enterprises amounted to $557.8 million, while expenses on 46 state-owned companies - $73.5 million.
