bp announces data on oil exports via BTC

February 12, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, nearly 27 million tons of crude oil and condensate (around 207 million barrels) were pumped through BTC .

ABC.AZ informs, citing bp, that this figure is 7.2% lower in annual terms compared with 223 million barrels in 2024.

Since the pipeline was commissioned in June 2006 and by the end of 2025, close to 619 million tons (approx. 4.7 billion barrels) of oil have been transported through it, loaded onto 6,145 tankers in Ceyhan and shipped to world markets.

The BTC oil pipeline mainly transports oil from oilfield block Azeri–Chirag–Guneshli (ACG) and condensate from Shah Deniz, as well as raw materials produced by SOCAR in Azerbaijan and oil from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

BTC Ko participating interests are: operator bp (30.10%), SOCAR (32.97%), MOL (8.90%), TPAO (6.53%), Eni (5.00%), TotalEnergies (5.00%), ITOCHU (3.40%), ONGC Videsh (3.10%), ExxonMobil (2.50%) and INPEX (2.50%).
