February 12, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, the number of people who arrived in Azerbaijan from the Russian Federation totaled 489,000 people.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that in 2024 this figure reached 600,000 people. Thus, in annual comparison, the tourist flow declined by nearly 19%.

Russian tourists’ costs in Azerbaijan in 2025 amounted to 861 million manats (18% less than in 2024 - 1.043 billion manats).

At the same time, the average expenses per person in 2025 amounted to 1,760 manats against 1,738 manats in 2024. Thus, the average expenses of each tourist from Russia increased in 2025, albeit slightly.
