February 6, Fineko/abc.az. The price of platinum futures dropped to almost $1,800 per ounce at the moment, having lost over 35% from the peak values recorded on January 26.

ABC.AZ informs that by 10:00 (Baku time) futures prices are down 3.12%, staying at $2,006.1 per ounce, while yesterday they reached $1,806 per ounce.

The weakening of industrial demand, as well as global tensions and the continued strengthening of the US dollar exerted pressure on the quotes.
