December 25, Fineko/abc.az. From 2015 to 2025, three insurance companies stopped operating in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ research shows that Standard Insurance was among those that closed. The company was declared bankrupt and previously operated a range of types of compulsory and voluntary insurance.

Over the past 10 years, the license has also been revoked from Günay Sığorta. It is noted that the group, which left the insurance market, previously operated a bank called Günay Bank.

In addition, Naxçıvan Sığorta left the market. Its activities were terminated as a result of license revocation.
