October 28, Fineko/abc.az. There is a dynamic in the banks and payment service networks of Azerpocht LLC.

ABC.AZ informs that compared to the end of September 2024, the number of ATMs increased by 8.8% and the number of POS-terminals by 56.5%.

Out of the 161,915 POS-terminals, 100,040 are located in Baku and 61,875 in the districts of the country. Of the 3,496 ATMs, 1,879 are located in Baku, and 1,617 are in the regions.

In September 2025, the volume of non-cash payments within the country made with the use of cards reached 8.898 million manats. E-commerce accounts for 7.808 million manats of non-cash payments. Of the remaining amount, payments for 1.086 million manats were carried out through POS-terminals and for 4 million manats through self-service terminals and ATMs. Since the beginning of the year, the volume of non-cash internal transactions with the use of payment cards has made up 67.4% of all internal card transactions.
