October 9, Fineko/abc.az. A memorandum on implementation of a project to lay a new main gas pipeline from Russia to Kazakhstan has been signed at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.

ABC.AZ informs that the strategic agreement between Gazprom and the government of Kazakhstan was signed in 2023.

The parties stressed their desire for long-term cooperation, given Kazakhstan's growing demand for natural gas.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was signed on the key parameters of long-term processing of Kazakh gas in the Russian Federation.
