September 30, Fineko/abc.az. As of September 1, 2025, credit investments in the Azerbaijani economy amounted to 30.464 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the figure is 0.7% more month-on-month, 4% more than at the beginning of the year and 10.2% more than on August 1, 2024.

Private banks accounted for 21.285 bn manats or 69.9% of loan investments (9.9% more than a year ago).

The credit investments of state-owned banks totaled 7.419 bn manats (10.5% more than a year ago). Over Jan-Aug 2025, the share of state-owned banks in the total volume of loan investments increased from 24.3% up to 24.35%.

As of September 1, credit investments of non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs) totaled 1.759 bn manats (11.8% more than a year ago). The share of NBCOs in the overall loan investments for the year was 5.8%.

Azerbaijan is numbering 22 banks, 2 of which have a governmental equity stake. And the number of NBCOs reaches 54.
