September 22, Fineko/abc.az. Digital transformation is a top priority for Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov made this statement at the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF-2025) in Baku.

According to Sharifov, one of the main tools to support development of ideas and innovations is exchange of ideas: "Such investment forums are a very successful platform for exchanging ideas."

Sharifov noted that the forum's agenda includes a number of panel discussions, which will be attended by senior representatives of various ministries: "In particular, the digital transformation panel will become an important platform where Azerbaijan's initiatives in this area will be presented."

The Deputy PM added that Azerbaijan is carrying out large-scale activities in this area: "We are doing a lot of work in this area — we are creating various business incubators, providing special support to startups through government programs, and also investing in education."

Sharifov stressed that eventually steps in the field of digital transformation and education will be continued in Azerbaijan.
