September 15, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, the production cost of 1 ton of oil in Azerbaijan reached 160.51 manats.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the 2024 report of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR), that this is 16.91 manats or 11.8% more agaisnt the same period of 2023.

According to the data, as part of the total production costs for oil production, the share of material costs is 3.1%, fuel costs - 0.3%, electricity costs - 0.8%, wage costs - 15.7%, social insurance contributions - 3.5%, depreciation of fixed assets - 20.4%, repair and maintenance costs maintenance of fixed assets - 13.8%, transportation costs - 12.1%, security costs - 2.5%, mining tax - 6.3%, other taxes - 4.6%, expenses for other services - 13.1%, and other expenses - 3.9%.

The report says that the increase in the cost of oil was due to increased fuel costs, electricity costs, payroll and social insurance costs, depreciation on fixed assets, transportation costs, other taxes, expenses for other services and other expenses compared with 2024. Thus, fuel costs increased by 108,000 manats (4%), electricity costs by 886,000 manats (12.6%), wage costs by 12.185 million manats (8%), social insurance costs by 2.203 million manats (6.4%), depreciation of fixed assets by 29.419 million manats (15.9%), transportation costs by 15.483 million manats (13.9%), other taxes by 1.419 million manats (3%), expenses for other services by 14.548 million manats (11.8%) and other expenses increased by 8.752 million manats (27.2%).
