TANAP pays $479.17 million in dividends to its main shareholder from Azerbaijan

September 15, Fineko/abc.az. One of the subsidiaries of Southern Gas Corridor CJSC (SGC) received dividends in the amount of $479.17 million from TANAP, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the annual report of the gas pipeline operator.

TANAP has not yet allocated dividends to SGC, and the amount of dividends paid last year is 814.59 million manats.

In the TANAP project, Southern Gas Corridor CJSC owns 51%, STEAŞ 7%, BP 12% and Turkish company Botaş 30%.

SGC itself must pay dividends to the state in the amount of 396.2 million manats for the first time in 2025.

SGC ended the reporting year in 2024 with net profit of $1.7 billion and a rise of 33.9% vesus 2023, increasing its total capital by 15.9%.
