September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Motor gasoline production in Azerbaijan fell by 2.8% in January–August 2025 compared to the same period last year, totaling 946,400 tons.
ABC.AZ reports, citing the State Statistics Committee, the decline in production has partially eased, as the annual drop by July stood at 3.8%.
Diesel fuel production over the same period increased by 4.1%, reaching 1.6288 million tons.
As of September 1, 2025, fuel reserves stood at 53,200 tons of motor gasoline and 158,000 tons of diesel fuel.
Among other petroleum products, kerosene output rose by 7.5% to 463,100 tons, while liquefied gas production grew by 13.9% to 150,900 tons.
