September 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund is issuing mortgage bonds totaling 50 million manats.

According to ABC.AZ, this information is detailed in the bond issuance prospectus or information memorandum. The bonds are being issued to raise funds, primarily for two purposes: financing mortgage loans and providing credit guarantees, as well as supporting entrepreneurship.

These bonds carry a government guarantee and are considered very low-risk. Their main purchasers are expected to be banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions. During the first seven months of 2025, funds allocated from the state budget to the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund amounted to 47.75 million manats, 27% lower than the same period last year.

However, the Fund is now positioning mortgage loans as an additional source of financing through the issuance of mortgage bonds. The total volume increased from 300 million manats in the first seven months of last year to 370 million manats in the same period this year.

According to the Fund, the mortgage bonds will offer an annual interest rate of 3.25%. A total of 50,000 units will be issued, each with a face value of 1,000 manats.
