September 5, Fineko/abc.az. Sierra, a startup founded by former Salesforce Inc. CEO Brett Taylor, has raised $350 million in funding and is now valued at over $10 billion.
ABC.AZ reports, citing CNBC, that the company’s valuation has more than doubled since its previous funding round in October of last year.
The newly raised capital will be used to further develop Sierra’s platform and expand its presence both in the U.S. and international markets.
Founded in 2023, Sierra specializes in developing and deploying AI agents capable of performing a wide range of tasks on behalf of users. According to the company, its agents are already used by hundreds of millions of people for tasks ranging from ordering food and managing deliveries to mortgage refinancing and tech support.
