Reserves of Türkiye's central bank reach record $178.4 billion

September 4, Fineko/abc.az – Türkiye’s Central Bank reserve assets reached a historic high of $178.4 billion, rising by $2.03 billion over the week ending August 29, ABC.AZ reports, citing the regulator.

"The Central Bank’s foreign currency reserves decreased by $59 million to $91.031 billion. Gold reserves increased from $85.237 billion to $87.326 billion. As a result, total reserves rose by $2.03 billion, reaching a new record, up from $176.327 billion to $178.357 billion," the statement said.

Net international reserves of the Central Bank of Türkiye, which stood at $71.756 billion last week, rose by $1.873 billion over the week to reach $73.629 billion.
