September 1, Fineko/abc.az. As of August 1 this year, the volume of money supply (aggregate M3) in Azerbaijan, in the broad sense, amounted to 47.680 billion manats.
ABC.AZ reports, citing data from the Central Bank, that this is 787.7 million manats (1.6%) less compared to the same period in 2024, and 2.759 billion manats (6.1%) more compared to the previous month.
In addition, as of August 1, 2025, the volume of money supply in manats (aggregate M2) stood at 36.662 billion manats, which is 155.2 million manats (0.4%) less than the monthly indicator, but 1.210 billion manats (3.4%) more compared to the same period in 2024.
During the reporting period, the monetary aggregate M1 amounted to 29.021 billion manats, an increase of 409 million manats (1.4%) compared to the previous month and 372.8 million manats (1.3%) compared to the same period in 2024.
Meanwhile, as of August 1 this year, the money supply outside the banking system (aggregate M0) totaled 16.657 billion manats, which is 143.8 million manats (0.9%) more than the previous month and 756.1 million manats (4.7%) more compared to the same period last year.
