September 1, Fineko/abc.az – As of August 1, 2025, the volume of loans invested in the transport and communications sector by banks and non-bank financial institutions operating in Azerbaijan reached 1.9 billion manats.

According to ABC.AZ, citing the Central Bank, this figure is 6.1 million manats, or 1%, higher compared to the previous month, and 219.1 million manats, or 11.8%, higher than the same period last year.

Overall, the loan portfolio for financing the real sector in Azerbaijan during the reporting period amounted to 30.258 billion manats. This represents an increase of 26.1 million manats, or 0.1%, compared to the previous month, and 3 billion manats, or 11%, compared to the same period in 2024.
