August 28, Fineko/abc.az. In January–July 2025, insurance premiums worth 716.301 million manats were collected in Azerbaijan from voluntary types of insurance.

According to ABC.AZ, citing Central Bank data, this is 14.8% more than in the same period of 2024. Insurance payouts on voluntary types for the reporting period amounted to 448.712 million manats, 22.3% more than a year earlier.

Thus, in 7 months, up to 62.6 manats of insurance payouts were made for every 100 manats collected from the voluntary insurance market.

A year ago this figure was 58.8 manats. Over the past 7 months, 56.45 manats were paid out of every 100 manats of total insurance premiums collected on the insurance market, compared to 52.8 manats in the same period last year.
