August 28, Fineko/abc.az. Insurance company collections from compulsory insurance types in Azerbaijan amounted to 221.357 million manats in January–July of this year.

According to ABC.AZ, citing information from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure is 11.9 million manats or 5.7% higher than in the same months of 2024.

At the same time, payouts on compulsory insurance types during the reporting period amounted to 80.595 million manats — an increase of 8.8 million manats or 12.2% compared to January–July 2024. It should be noted that in January–July this year, Azerbaijani insurance companies collected 937.658 million manats in total insurance premiums — 104.4 million manats or 12.5% more than in the same period of 2024.

Meanwhile, in the first seven months of 2025, insurance payouts amounted to 529.307 million manats — an increase of 90.7 million manats or 20.7% compared to the same period last year.
