August 28, Fineko/abc.az. In January–June of this year, 21.242 million cubic meters of natural gas were imported from Russia to Azerbaijan. The cost of purchasing this volume amounted to $3.9 million.

According to ABC.AZ, citing data from the State Statistics Committee, no records were made regarding natural gas imports from Russia to Azerbaijan during the same period last year. It should be noted that in January–June of the current year, 208.2 million cubic meters of natural gas worth $32 million were imported into Azerbaijan from foreign countries.

Compared to the same period last year, natural gas imports decreased by 94.8 million cubic meters, or 31.3%, in volume terms, and by $13.5 million, or 29.6%, in value terms.
