According to ABC.AZ, the agency’s analysis notes that the insurance company is a leader in non-life insurance in the domestic market, but its business portfolio is characterized by high concentration by geography and product.

“In recent years, steps have been taken to improve the governance structure and risk management,” the agency stated. For reference, AM Best, headquartered in the United States, is considered one of the most influential rating agencies in the insurance industry. AM Best’s ratings are widely used by investors, brokers, insurance buyers, and regulators.

Many major insurance companies worldwide (Allianz, AXA, Zurich, etc.) are assessed by AM Best.
