August 22, Fineko/abc.az. On August 22, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized another deposit auction in order to manage state budget funds more effectively by placing treasury account balances in the national currency on deposit in local banks.

According to ABC.AZ, as a result of the auction, the treasury account balance of 370 million manats was placed on a 28-day deposit at an average weighted interest rate of 7% in two banks that submitted bids among the five largest banks in the country by capitalization and total assets.
