Amount of household deposits in national currency increased by 8.9%

According to the Central Bank, compared with Jan-Jun 2024, the amount of household deposits in banks increased by 8.9% for the first 6 months of 2025 and amounted to 15.437 bn manats in national currency equivalent as of July 1, 2025, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

67.7% of savings were in national currency and 32.3% - in foreign currency. Compared with Jan-Jun 2024, savings in national currency grew by 11.5% and in foreign currency by 3.8%.
